Minneapolis Area REALTORS® dares members to dream big. Scholarships are available to make those dreams a reality. Members are encouraged to apply for these opportunities to make a positive impact in your community and be acknowledged for your efforts.

Jean Leake Emerging Markets Scholarship

Jean Leake, MAR REALTOR® member, was instrumental in establishing MAR’s Minority REALTORS® Support Group and Equal Opportunity Committee.

In Jean’s honor, MAR will send two REALTOR® members who are committed to serving emerging markets communities to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Midyear Legislative Meetings held in Washington, DC., all expenses paid. This scholarship will be awarded to members who demonstrate their commitment to serve the emerging markets communities, with particular efforts to increase homeownership among diverse communities in Minnesota.

Ann Brockhouse Future Leader Scholarship

Ann Brockhouse, MAR past president, REALTOR® leader and a great contributor to the REALTOR® community had a heart for identifying and recruiting new potential leaders.

In Ann’s honor, we offer a scholarship to enable one member to attend the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Midyear Meetings in Washington, DC, all expenses paid. The recipient must be willing to demonstrate leadership abilities within MAR and the REALTOR® community.
