David is the Director of Research at Minneapolis Area REALTORS®. He embodies a variety of roles stretching from research, policy, business development, media and industry relations as well as education, training and public speaking. He holds a Masters in Housing and Economic Development from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota. He has undergraduate degrees in Urban Geography and Political Science. Past posts include the City of Minneapolis economic development agency, the Family Housing Fund, the Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation and the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs.

David has nearly 20 years of market research experience. Since joining Minneapolis Area REALTORS® in 2010, David has been the Association’s go-to person for market data. David is frequently sought after by our local for his insights on local trends and publishes a variety of white papers, blogs, reports and presents a monthly webinar. He stays busy with almost 3-year old twins and enjoys skiing, cycling and camping when time permits and weather cooperates.

Tim Hur

Tim Hur (ABR®, AHWD, C2EX;, CIPS, CRS, SRS) is NAR’s 2024 REALTOR® Party Community Engagement Liaison. Tim is a national speaker and seasoned real estate professional with 15 years of experience. He is managing broker for Point Honors and Associates, REALTORS®, a boutique real estate firm in Atlanta. Tim serves the real estate community in various capacities. In 2018, he served as Chair of the NAR Diversity Committee. That same year, he served on the NAR task force charged with promoting and commemorating the 50th anniversary of fair housing. Tim was appointed by NAR’s 2013, 2014, and 2015 presidents to be their respective President Liaison to South Korea.

Tim’s leadership experience extends to his role as the immediate past national President of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), the largest Asian American and Hawaiian Pacific Islander membership trade association in the United States with over 18,000 members and 43 chapters. Tim consistently ranks in the top 5 percent of practitioners in the Atlanta market by volume and production. He is a member of the Atlanta REALTORS®, Atlanta Commercial Board, and Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®.

He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
