April 2020 Membership Report
MAR added a total of 70 new members in April including affiliates, non-member licensees, and reinstated members. This compares to 177 new members in April of 2019. This is a substantial decrease based on the current Covid-19 crisis that began in early March of 2020.
At the end of April, MAR had 8964 Active (with an additional 183 pending-meaning they have not completed orientation and ethics yet) members, including affiliate and non-member licensees, reflecting a net decrease of .9% in membership over April 2019. Of this, 8446 are actual licensed real estate agents/brokers.
At the end of April, MAR had 9892 MLS members, which includes unlicensed assistants, office staff, MLS Only, Government access, reflecting a net decrease of .3% from April 2019. 9018 are actual paying members.
