What made you want to become a Realtor®, or get involved in the industry?
When I sold the bridal store I owned, the Realtor® who sold it for me suggested I try real estate.
What is your favorite thing about being a Realtor®?
My favorite part of being a Realtor® is the variety of each day. No two days are the same so it makes every day a ‘new day’. I also enjoy finding solutions to opportunities that face us as well as mentoring new agents and seeing them become great Realtors®.
What career highlight are you most proud of?
I was mentoring a newer agent and she was ready to quit. I helped her hang in there for a few more months and now she is a very successful Realtor®.
Who or what inspires you in your career?
I am inspired by knowing that I can help people make one of their largest decisions.
What’s something an outsider wouldn’t know about the real estate industry?
An outsider has no idea how many different hats we wear during the day and that some days it is really difficult, but our job is to make it look & feel ‘easy’ for our clients.
How do you give back to your community?
I work and have worked as a volunteer for PanCan to promote awareness of pancreatic cancer by working with the Purple Ride committee.
What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?
Sewing, gardening, watching high school & college sports as well as doing almost anything outdoors. My mom was an inspiration with the sewing & gardening and my brothers were involved in sports.
Are you more of an extrovert of an introvert?
Most of the time an introvert.
What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?
Making someone else smile.
How do you take your coffee?
Black – all coffee shops would fail if they depended on me.
What would be the first thing you’d do if you won the lottery?
After explaining to my husband why I even purchased a ticket I would contact a financial advisor.
What is your favorite thing to do or place to visit in Minneapolis?
Walking along the river or beautiful scenery.
