How long have you been in the real estate industry?

Less than 2 years

What made you want to become a Realtor, or get involved in the industry?

My background as an actor & storyteller gives me a unique perspective to problem solve and get creative for my clients.

What is your favorite thing about being a Realtor?

The freedom and flexibility to fly out to LA to shoot a project is HUGE. Most actors have to request off of a shift or get permission from their boss, I’m very fortunate – I just get to say “I’m going.” 🙂

What career highlight are you most proud of?

One of my first transactions I negotiated 100,000 off of the price tag. It was alot of back and forth, but seeing how happy my clients were made it all worth it.

Who or what inspires you in your career?

My Mom, shes an incredible human who instilled in me a great work ethic. She taught me I can do anything as long as I put the work in and do so with an intention and a goal. The sky is the limit!

What’s something an outsider wouldn’t know about the real estate industry?

Just how delayed the gratification is in this business. From the time I started taking classes to getting my first real estate paycheck was over a year and a half.

How do you give back to your community?

I try to lift up voices that typically arent represented. In the Twin Cities community, I shine a spotlight on programs available for people of color. The housing ownership disparity is huge, and if I can help bridge the gap that would be so amazing. I also donate a portion of each commission to the Special Olympics.

What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?

I’ve been a professional actor for over 15 years. You can find me on your screen both big and small, as well as on the stage from time to time.

Are you more of an extrovert of an introvert?

I’m an introvert that was raised to be an extrovert.

What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?

Coffee. Always coffee.

How do you take your coffee?

Black.

What would be the first thing you’d do if you won the lottery?

Call an accountant.

What is your favorite thing to do or place to visit in Minneapolis?

I LOVE the North Loop, from the coffee shops to the restaurants to the INCREDIBLE architecture, there’s a little bit of everything there.
