Barb Davis, Coldwell Banker Realty, was appointed by the Minneapolis City Council to serve on the Minneapolis Advisory Committee on Housing beginning in January 2023 through December of 2024. The committee advises the Mayor, City Council, and city departments on a wide range of issues related to housing including but not limited to city housing policy, homelessness and housing instability, fair housing development, rental licensing accessibility, maintenance, health, and sustainability. The committee is intended to reflect the racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, geography and gender diversity of Minneapolis residents who are most affected by the current housing environment which has low vacancy rates, a shortage of available affordable rentals and a large disparity in homeownership rates between white households and households of color. After spending 30 years in department store retailing with a focus on Home related products, Barb Davis moved to Minneapolis to join her sister Fran in selling residential real estate. Barb has been an active member of the Minneapolis Area Realtors® serving as a 2023 board member and as the Government Affairs Committee. Barb has been a Realtor® for 17 years and lives near Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Area Realtors® is pleased to have Barb Davis serving on the Minneapolis Advisory Committee on Housing and where she can bring her expertise in real estate and housing for the betterment of everyone in our community.
