How long have you been in the real estate industry?

5-10 years

What made you want to become at Realtor®, or get involved in the industry?

I decided to become a Realtor® when I realized I wasn’t feeling fulfilled in my previous job. I was doing marketing & design, and it dawned on me that I could continue utilizing these skills in a career I felt more passionate about. To this day I continue to use what I learned over the years of doing marketing & design and I apply it to my every day in Real Estate.

What is your favorite thing about being a Realtor®?

My absolute favorite thing about being a Realtor® is truly the ability to be a small part of a very big moment in peoples lives. I’ve helped first time home buyers buy their first big purchase, I’ve helped down sizers sell the homes they raised their families in, and I’ve helped people relocating to & from MN. It’s truly an honor to get to be a part of their lives and help them through these big moments.

What’s something an outsider wouldn’t know about the real estate industry?

It’s not always glamorous! We tend to show the “highlight reel” of Real Estate. “Here’s the pretty sold sign photo of my clients”, but it took countless nights of gruesome negations, some hoops jumped through, maybe multiple offers submitted, many meals in the car between showings, and late night calls/texts before we got to this photo!

What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?

Traveling! I moved here from Germany when I was very young. My family is still in Europe (Bosnia, Croatia, Germany, Sweden… etc). I grew up traveling to visit family, and I’ve loved experiencing different cultures, scenery & ways of life.

Are you more of an extrovert of an introvert?

I am ABSOLUTELY an introvert! I can thrive in social situations when I know my peers, but I get my energy from being alone. Which, in the Real Estate industry can be very draining. I’ve learned to carve out time for me, to decompress & schedule some alone time!

How do you take your coffee?

I don’t discriminate against coffee. If I could infuse it straight into my bloodstream for most efficiency I’d take it that way! Otherwise… just coffee with some creamer. LOL!
