View original update from our partners at Minnesota Realtors®.
On Tuesday, June 3, Minnesota Realtors® shared news of a possible government shutdown that would have impacted the Minnesota Department of Commerce, and thus CE processing and license renewals. The MN Legislature met in a special session on Monday 6/9, and the Department of Commerce Budget was approved.
Thanks to this resolution, we don’t anticipate any additional disruption to CE processing or license renewal.
For Realtors®/Salespersons and Brokers:
You must complete 30 hours of CE every two years, with 15 hours due by June 30 each year. For the current period, you must complete:
- 2024-2025 Required Module: Risk Management and Minnesota License Procedures (3.75 hours of CE)
- FREE and ON DEMAND for members via Minnesota Realtors®
- Agency Law (1 hour of CE)
- Fair Housing (1 hour of CE)
- Check out the CE Shop for more on-demand options
CE credits and requirements are due June 30. Remember: Course providers have 10 days to upload your credits.
Check your CE status and transcript on the Pulse Portal.
For Brokers Only:
As a Primary Broker, you are responsible for completing your own CE (as detailed in the section above), as well as ensuring all agents under your license have completed their required CE by June 30, 2025. It’s critical to:
- Verify all licenses are CE-compliant at Pulse Portal → “Review your CE Transcript.”
- If a course does not appear on an agent’s transcript, contact the course provider immediately.
- Submit mass license renewals by 11:59 PM Central on June 30. Renewals must be completed at www.pulseportal.com.
