New Broker Information

Basics for Brokers – Procedures Refresher

As Brokers, you’re responsible for a lot, including some procedural and compliance oversight. We’re here to help—take a look at some of the common or routine pieces of business you manage below.

Setting up office contact and/or manager designee

  • The office contact will be who we reach out to with reminders or other association information

  • To add an office contact, just email in**@*********or.com with their name and NRDS

Adding agents to your brokerage

Reminder: all new agents must join the association within 30 days of joining your brokerage

First, you will need to transfer their license on the pulse portal

  • What if my new agent is an existing MAR member? We will need a office transfer form filled out

  • What if their license just got approved by the DOC? We will need an application, see Membership tab and select Apply for Membership

  • What if they are transferring from another association? We will need an application, see Membership tab and select Apply for Membership

Removing agents from your brokerage

Reviewing agents licenses

Each year on June 30th you will need to renew all your agent’s licenses on the pulse portal

  • Reminder: agents are on a two year cycle for license renewal. This means you will likely need to renew some agents every year.

For more information on this process, please reach out to the DOC at 651-539-1599

View your list of unpaid agnets

  • Visit mplsrealtor.com and click the blue “Login” button or person icon on the top right. If this is your first time logging in, proceed with Forgot Password option.

  • Once you are logged in, Click on “Pay Agent Orders” in the gray box on the left side of your profile page. It may take a few seconds to pull the list. From there, you will see the list of agents who have not paid dues or other fees.
