Applications will be processed within two business days once payment and required course date preference is received.

Broker membership provides:
• MLS Access – Access to active, sold, expired and withdrawn listings and more
• Member Benefits – Access to courses, events and products at member rates as well as member discounts
• Broker Support Meetings – Meet regularly with other Brokers on relevant topics
• Broker-specific tools and resources – Up-to-date information that you need to run your office
• MAR presence at your request – Staff will come to your weekly sales meeting to share about the association and ways to get involved

Affiliate
Get your name out there
Whether you’ve already made the investment to get involved in the association or are thinking about it, it’s time to connect with our members and grow your business. Mortgage companies, home inspectors, title companies, stagers, et al. that do not hold a real estate, broker or appraiser license are invited to apply for Affiliate membership.
What’s in it for me?
Affiliate members are associated with the real estate industry and offer services including escrow and title, home inspection, home warranty, insurance, legal, property management, cleaning services and more to REALTOR® members and their clients. MAR provides the opportunity for affiliates and REALTOR® members to support each other.
As an affiliate member, you gain:
• Affiliate Member Benefits – Access to education, meeting and committee activities
• Exposure and Networking – A built-in source of business leads and prospects
• Member Rates – Discounts on MAR room rentals, advertising and events

Appraiser
A place to call home
MAR welcomes the appraiser community and works to provide appraiser members many valuable resources and special insights to help them grow their business. Appraiser members receive special member discounts, informational publications, advocacy and education.

• NAR Appraiser – MAR membership extends to the state and national associations.

Appraisers licensed by the State of Minnesota can apply for membership.

In addition to the application above, complete the following two forms if you are the lead appraiser of your company and applying for new company membership:
MLS Access Only
Licensed brokers or agents who hold primary membership and/or MLS with another association and need to obtain MLS access through MAR.
Office Support Staff - MLS Only
NorthstarMLS access is available to an office support person who is not licensed, in any state, in either real estate or appraisal and who is not already working in the real estate industry in any capacity (including mortgage, title, home inspection, etc…) Office Support Staff is defined as staff that is paid by the participating broker.
Unlicensed Assistant - MLS Only
Unlicensed assistants are paid by the agent and are required to register to obtain NorthstarMLS access. This access is available only to an agent assistant who is not licensed, in any state, in either real estate or appraisal, and who is not already working in the real estate industry in any capacity (including mortgage, title, home inspection, etc…). The duties performed by the unlicensed assistant must pertain to and be in conjunction with the scope of their supervising agent’s business. The unlicensed assistant may not engage in listing, selling, leasing, managing, counseling or appraising real property on their own behalf.
Unlicensed Assistant - Keyholder
Unlicensed assistants are paid by the agent and are required to register and obtain a satisfactory background check to qualify for Supra Key access. This access is available only to an agent assistant who is not licensed, in any state, in either real estate or appraisal, and who is not already working in the real estate industry in any capacity (including mortgage, title, home inspection, etc…). The duties performed by the unlicensed assistant must pertain to and be in conjunction with the scope of their supervising agent’s business. The unlicensed assistant may not engage in listing, selling, leasing, managing, counseling or appraising real property on their own behalf.

Non-member Licensee
MN licensed real estate agents who do not wish to receive all of the benefits of REALTOR® membership. Non-member licensees cannot use the term REALTOR® and do not have access to the Supra Key Box system.
