8:30 a.m. – Economic and Housing Outlook

The National Association of REALTORS® Chief Economist and Senior Vice President, Lawrence Yun, will be addressing many aspects of the local and national housing market. He will discuss recent developments in the housing market, economic factors and the impact on the future of home pricing, historical impacts of economics in housing trends and finally the current consumer and state of the economy.

This course has been approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 1.5 hours of real estate continuing education

10:00 a.m. – The Mapping Prejudice Project

10:40 a.m. – The State of the Minnesota Economy

Ron Wirtz, Director of Regional Outreach from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis will discuss how the Federal Reserve System and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis play a role in the economy. He will discuss the current state of the Minnesota economy using a variety of metrics, as well as how that has potential effects on the future.
