The Bernard Rice Library is located onsite at the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS® office. The library hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The library is closed on MAAR observed holidays. You may visit our library to check out books, videos and CD-ROMs.
No more than three books, videos, CD-ROMs, and DVDs may be borrowed at one time. Materials can be borrowed for a three-week period.
Library Guidelines
- If items are not returned five business days after the due date, the borrower will be notified via email and/or phone call that the item(s) are overdue
- A letter will be sent 10 business days after the initial due date, to the borrower advising of the overdue item(s) with a copy sent to the broker
- If the item(s) are not returned to the MAAR library after the 10-day “grace period”, an invoice for the replacement cost will be added to the broker’s month MAAR fees.
- Library privileges will be suspended until payment is received for the missing item(s).
- All items must be returned to a Education and Professional Department team member.
