Second Quarter Billing Scheduledirect agent billing

MLS service for offices with agents who still have outstanding MLS fees will be suspended. This means your membership with MAAR will remain active, but no agents in your office will have MLS access. Brokers will receive an email summary statement with notice of office termination if suspension status is not resolved by May 31, 2013.

June 1, 2013
Remaining suspended offices with unpaid agents are terminated. This means membership with MAAR and all services will be terminated for all agents in your office. A $100 Broker MLS reinstatement fee and all past due amounts will be required to reactivate office MLS access. A $100 reinstatement fee may be applied to all agents in your office to reinstate membership.

Third Quarter Billing Schedule

June 1, 2013
Agents are directly ebilled for second quarter (July, August, September) MLS services. Payment is due June 30, 2013. A summary billing statement listing all active agents in the brokers office will be emailed to brokers. The statements should be reviewed for accuracy. Notify MAAR of any roster changes using a REALTOR® Change Form.

July 1, 2013
Unpaid agents are assessed a $10 late fee and MLS service is suspended. This means your membership with MAAR will remain active, but you will not have MLS access. Brokers will receive an email summary statement listing their agents that have not paid MLS fees. Brokers have until July 31, 2013 to complete one of the following to avoid office wide suspension:

• Ensure the agent pays.
• Pay on behalf of the agent.
• Terminate the agent's affiliation with their company, inactivate their license with the Department of Commerce and notify MAAR using the REALTOR® Change Form.

August 1, 2013

September 1, 2013
Remaining suspended offices with unpaid agents are terminated. This means membership with MAAR and all services will be terminated for all agents in your office. A $100 reinstatement fee may be applied to all agents in your office to reinstate membership.

How MLS Fees are Billed

New Agents
Your first MLS fee will be collected with your membership dues at the time of application.

Transferring In
If you are transferring to MAAR from another local association, MAAR will verify with your previous association if MLS fees have already been paid. If you have already paid your previous association for the current quarter, MAAR will not collect MLS fees for that quarter. MLS billing will start at the next calendar quarter. If you have not yet paid your previous association for billed MLS fees, MAAR will collect those amounts at the time of application.

Transferring Out
If you are transferring to another local association from MAAR, and you have already paid for the current quarter’s MLS fees, you will not be required to pay your new association for the current quarter. If you have outstanding MLS fees at the time of transfer, your new association will collect the current quarter’s MLS fee at the time of application. There will be no refunds when transferring to another association.

MLS invoices are ebilled only, not mailed. To ensure that you receive your bill via email, please verify that the email address we have on file is correct:

1. Go to mplsrealtor.com
2. Click the "My Account" Tab (At the top of the Home Page)
3. Log in with your MAAR Member # (Not your MLS/NRDS#) and Member Password. This is NOT the same as your MLS#. If you do not know what this is, please contact the membership department.
